Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance can I book my wedding?

Typically, we are able to book your ceremony as early as 12-18 months in advance, depending on your desired date, the size of your group, and desired ceremony site.

Is a deposit required?

For an all-inclusive package, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. For the ceremony site fee only, a 75% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to your ceremony. We prefer personal checks as payment, but also accept major credit cards.

What if it rains?

We always secure a backup room inside the restaurant to accommodate your wedding and guests, in case of bad weather.

If I book a wedding, do I have to book a reception at the restaurant?

No, you may have just your ceremony at the restaurant without being required to book any kind of reception, as long as the ceremony takes place between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Paddlefish offers many post-ceremony and reception dining options, though! Ceremonies booked along with a private dining reception may take place any time after 10 AM. Ask your planner for details.

Is there a limit to the number of guests we can invite?

The ceremony site accommodates up to 86 guests, and the private dining room accommodates up to 70 guests.

Will there be an area to get dressed on the day of the wedding?

Hospitality rooms are not included in the ceremony site fee or ceremony packages. Couples are encouraged to be dressed and ready for a stress-free wedding day experience.

Is there a fee for parking at Disney Springs?

Parking is free of charge in the parking lots and garages located at Disney Springs.

How much advance notice is needed for booking a wedding ceremony or reception at Paddlefish?

We recommend a one week minimum for Ceremonies and a two month minimum for Receptions. We are capable of handling last-minute requests, subject to space and staff availability. Holidays and weekends may be difficult to accommodate without sufficient notice.

What is the best time of day for a ceremony?

The best time of day to hold a ceremony is early to mid-morning and late afternoon (most comfortable temperature and lighting for outdoor photos). However, we are happy to accommodate any time preference (based on availability).

Are discount tickets to the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks included?

No, tickets and discounts for admission to any of the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks and attractions are not included in the wedding packages.

Do we need a marriage license?

Yes. Florida law dictates the conditions for marriage license issuance and the fees. The Clerk of Courts provides an information sheet to help you understand the requirements of the law and to answer questions which are frequently asked.
